I had a d&c one week ago. I’m guessing that resets my cycle, so I will ovulate before I get my next period.

Do you need to wait a full cycle before conceiving again? Is it really needed for your uterus to heal?

Or would it be fine to get pregnant again the first time I ovulate, i.e before my next period.

I’ve read mixed info. Some say wait a cycle or two, but other things I’ve read say that this is more so that if you get pregnant again it’s easier to date and to be emotionally ready.

Has anyone gotten pregnant straight after a d&c (not waiting until after your next period)? And if so, was it all fine?

I don’t want to increase my risk of another miscarriage, but I’m also very ready to try and get pregnant again 😢
