Dad is concerned that his 13 year old son doesn’t show excitement to anything and just watches tv and plays video games. Dad is okay with video games and plays with him sometimes but wants to show his son other activities.

Dad is a hunting enthusiast and loves going. He has brought his son to the firing range and reports his son seemed to enjoy it once he was there. Dad wants to take his son on his first hunting trip, but his son doesn’t seem interested. Son does enjoy eating venison his dad has brought home.

Should dad still take him and see how it goes? Mom thinks their son shouldn’t be forced to do anything if he’s not interested.
