I had unprotected sex while ovulating now my period is late

The days marked purple are the days I had unprotected sex - the 14th, 15th, & 16th. Now my period is 9 days late. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I am wondering if it is too early to get a positive pregnancy test or if I did it at the right time & I’m not pregnant?
