My mom recently got diagnosed with cancer and it is not good. She will not be able to care for herself and will be in and out of hospitals. She is moving in with my sister (when she’s not in the hospital)

The dog is an older dog. But my sister can’t take the dog because her son is autistic and isn’t good around animals. And her other son is severely allergic to dog fur. She has a 3 bedroom house and it’s very small.

I can’t take the dog because my lease doesn’t allow animals. We have no other family members or any friends who want the dog. What would you do in this situation?
