Corpus luteum while on nexplanon ??
I’ve been having some right sided pains for awhile now and was sent for a pelvic ultrasound which revealed a corpus luteum in my right ovary, what does that mean? Especially since I was on nexplanon for the past 5 months and I thought ovulation doesn’t happen?? Can anyone help me understand what is going on && I’m not on birth control anymore but to further complicate things I did have some positive pregnancy tests before the ultrasound but I guess they were false positives??
Update: I have taken two pregnancy tests since this post and both had super faint but visible (to me) lines, I say to me because I was unable to really capture it on camera :/ I don’t know what the next step should be because I know I ovulated but I was on nexplanon and for the first time since being on it (had it for 5 months) I completely skipped a period in October and have had random spotting since then; however you’re NOT supposed to ovulate on nexplanon so I don’t actually know when I ovulated and skipping the period I don’t know how to calculate when my next one would be. Or when I should really be taking tests.?
