Baby’s fine but I’m measuring small?

At my last two appointments (I’m going weekly now), my belly has measured small so I’ve gotten ultrasounds, but baby is perfectly fine and even gained weight between the appointments. The first time, I was 35+2 but my belly measured 33, baby measured 5 lbs on the dot. Today’s appointment, 36+2, I measured 32 but baby measured 5lbs9oz. Has anything similar happened to anyone else?

My OB doesn’t even measure my belly and hasn’t my entire pregnancy. He said it’s outdated practice in his mind and only leads to unnecessary anxiety as there are so many variables. He does a 36 week growth scan on all his patients and if baby looks good he’s happy! I wouldn’t stress 🙂

Can be babies position in there. Did the doctor say the growth on the ultrasound was good?

This happened to me at my 34 week appointment, just measuring my belly smaller but bubs is 2 weeks ahead and 80% centile. I wouldn’t stress about it to much, there’s actually been a few ladies posting about this on here all December babies so that’s interesting 😂
