My husband had only been out of a relationship for 1-2 weeks before we met and started going on dates!! However, he originally told me it had been about 2 months 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 told me later it had only been a couple of weeks. But we are happily married, been together for 5.5 years and have a lovely daughter! Ya never know!

Every situation Is different. Sometimes relationships are over before they are officially over.
I’ve been with my husband 8 years, married 5. He was going through a divorce when we met. They had lived separate 7 months at that point and house sold/assets split. He rarely brought her up. They amicable knew they never should have gotten married.

I don't think anyone can decide how long it takes to get over a relationship. I have gotten over someone in a couple of days because I checked out long before the relationship ended.

I met my now husband when we had both gotten out of long term relationships, both within a month or so. We've been together for 15 years now.
