Possible miscarriage?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant…I have had moderate cramping a sporadically spotted a few times. I went for my 1st ultrasound today, they couldn’t find the baby but could see the gestational sac and yoke sac. I have to go back in 10 days for another ultrasound. If there’s no baby in 10 days than I miscarried. Has this happened to anyone where on the 2nd ultrasound they were able to find the baby?

Everything should be easily seen by 9 weeks. If your first positive lines up with your dates then it's not a viable pregnancy.

I had a missed miscarriage and found out at my 9 week ultrasound. I was 100% sure I was that far along but still went back a week later to confirm. If your dates could be wrong there’s a chance you are still too early to see a fetal pole.
