I’m a first time mom and my daughter has never had a birthday party. This year I’d like to do a party, but I have so many questions. My daughter doesn’t go to daycare or anything so she doesn’t really have any little kid friends. Most of my friends had children earlier than I did so the handful of my friends with children have older children (ages 6-10). I’m thinking of having the party at my house and hiring a live taco bar. Is this adequate? Should I get a jumper? She doesn’t really like them 🤷🏻‍♀️. I don’t want other kids to be bored though. Do I need to have activities for the kids that come? Or is food and the toys in her room enough?? Please be honest.

Any birthday ideas are welcome. I thought of Chuck E. Cheese and I may do that, but she is also really shy so idk how much she’d like being in a loud foreign environment like that.

*her birthday is in December so a park isn’t the best choice since it’s so cold. :-/
