GD but sugar levels lower than usual?
So I was diagnosed with GD at 13 weeks. I took a 1 hr test and my number was 139. My post meal numbers I could control with diet but was eventually prescribed glyburide or something like that for my fasting numbers, which ranged from 95-110. It hasn’t been super hard to control my post-meal numbers as long as I watch my carbs/sugar but I can definitely handle some carbs. I think the highest reading I ever got was like 171 after I ate a peanut butter and jelly and I knew not to do that anymore.
Anyways, I’m 27 weeks now, 28 weeks in 2 days, and this past week I had a day where my sugar dropped below 70. Made me feel really sick. I didn’t think anything of it but today my numbers have been better than expected I guess? I feel so stupid for even talking about this but my 2 Hr reading post breakfast was 80 even though I had potatoes. For lunch I ate a burger and chips and my 1 hour reading was 107. Dinner I had bread and my 1 Hr was 106. So really good numbers all things considered.
And it’s freaking me out! Like typically if it had stuff like this it would be in the 120s/130s at best so why so low today? My husband thinks I’m crazy for stressing and I feel crazy too. I don’t even know what there would be to worry about for good numbers but here I am convinced something is going wrong because my GD is under control 🤦🏻♀️
