I’m 36w4d and had a growth ultrasound 2 days ago. Baby was measuring estimated weighing at 8 lbs 3 oz right now…At my 32 week scan he was measuring 5 lbs 9 oz. So he’s measuring really big. They’re calling it macrosomia. They said I might consider having a c section because of it but that right now it’s up to me. I’m getting induced already at 39 weeks (not because of his size) but I really don’t know what to do as far as deciding between c section and vaginal delivery……my last birth was vaginal but she was only 6 lbs and I had to be induced early for severe preeclampsia.

Has anyone else had to make this decision before or knew you were giving birth to a very large baby? What did you choose or how did it all go?
