I just got mirena out Friday morning. I started bleeding yesterday and today I’m having horrible cramping and blood clots I’ve had 5 today and they are pretty big. Is this normal?

Withdrawal bleeding most likely they can be gnarly

It is normal. Hang in there! And beware, it may come and go when you least expect it. So prepare for random bleeds. I had the mirena in for 7 years. I was warned too. But after the first month it regulated to normal.
