My LO just turned 2. My household has had a nasty cold the past few weeks, started with my kids being out of sorts for a week, tired and emotional and LO not sleeping well. Then congestion and cold symptoms. LO has barely slept in like two weeks. He has cough and runny nose lots of drainage. I’m doing everything I can do to help him sleep - bed inclined, steam shower before bed, sucking out his nose, humidifier, Tylenol, honey, etc. he just coughs himself awake and then is restless for hours. He’s in decent spirits during the day but he acts like his mouth is bothering him (not teething) he’s putting his hands in his mouth a lot and has random crying fits where he says his mouth hurts. I can’t see anything in his mouth. Should I take him in to the dr? I just don’t know what to do with him and I’m not sure what the mouth thing is. No fevers.
