Bottle warmer

Thoughts on bottle warmers? Are they really necessary or needed? I didnt get one with my first and debating on getting one before my son is born

It wasn't necessary for us. Both my kids drank room temperature or bottles straight from the fridge.

If you don't have a helper a bottle warmer is your friend.. especially if baby likes warm milk....

Would’ve been a  waste of money for us. Most bottles were room temp, but my first would drink them straight out of the refrigerator

My daughter drank room temp formula, but pumped breastmilk needed to be warmed up (couldn't be fridge temp). The bottle warmer took just as long and worked just as well as filling a mug with hot water and submerging the baby bottle in the hot water. So we used it but could've gone without one

It was a life saver. Only used it until around 8 months though.

It depends on your plan. I exclusively pumped and we ended up having to use frozen milk for a time so yes we used ours a ton. After we switched to formula I never warmed up the bottles anymore. We decided Next baby will be formula fed from the get go so I probably won’t keep it

I'm getting one that is a warmer and sanitizer(we don't have a dishwasher). I plan on switching from breastfed to breast and bottle once he's old enough so I can work and others can feed him as well. That's the plan, but we'll see what actually happens.
