Labor Signs?

I’ve been having irregular contractions starting since 4AM last night and it’s currently 8PM. When it hits which is in waves, my body gets the shivers and sometimes I even get the shakes till it passes. I just don’t wanna be turned away again at the ER and my water hasn’t broken. I had a small bloody show a week ago but idk what to do. 38w2d. Is this labor?

My OB had to break my water, but I was 6cm dilated when I went in to the hospital after having steady contractions close together. Maybe a half hour after that I was 10cm and started pushing. Good luck !

I would definitely time them and then give your OB a call and see what they advise you do. 
I’ve had the same symptoms for about 3 weeks now, and am 40 weeks. But I’ve not made any progression so I’ve scheduled my induction date for 41 weeks if she’s isn’t here by then.

Have you been timing them? If the are coming consistently every 5 minutes lasting 1 minute I think it’s considered active labour x
