CONFUSED Got a peak twice this month?

Okay so 8 days ago I had a peak (solid smiley face) on a clear blue advanced digital opk. The previous 3 days were all a flashing smiley face meaning ovulation was coming. Then today I felt this odd twinge in my lower left side and I took an ovulation test and got this? Could I have ovulated twice this month?

No, your first surge must of been failed ovulation and now your body is trying again!

You can have multiple surges in one cycle. Its normal & doesn't mean anything in particular.

I believe these tests will automatically stay on peak for some time after you reach peak. Google it.

Hey this happened to me last month and I think my first attempt at ovulation failed and then had a second successful surge a week later. Reason I think this was the case was my period came exactly 14 days after the second surge which is my normal luteal phase :)
