Anyone else out there have a soft spot for bugs
So it’s winter where I live and it’s freezing out, we have a ton of snow and there’s no way a bug could survive out there. Well somehow during fall a few Boxelder bugs made their way into our home to hunker down for the winter. If you don’t know what a boxelder bug is they are these rather large flying black and red beatle like things. You can definitely hear them when they are on the move as their wingman are quite noisy. But they are completely harmless. So I’ve seen a total of 3 in my house but having a huge soft spot for any living creature I cannot bring myself to put them outside as they’ll likely freeze to death. Am I crazy? I ended up bring one out then quickly regretting it and bro no I got it back inside 🤦♀️ I couldn’t deal with the guilt of killing something that was just trying to survive the winter lol. Please tell me I’m not the only one who refuses to be the reason a bug loses its life.
