I am 10 weeks pregnant and I clean houses for a living…I have told majority all my clients that I am expecting and plan to work as long as my body & doctor will let me. One one hand It’s hard to hear my clients ask for recommendations for stand in housekeepers while I’m out on leave bc I’ve protected and worked hard to get my own business. But on the other hand I want to stay home with my soon to be new baby and be a stay home mom but I know deep in my heart we could use my pay even if it’s not much and my husband can afford all the bills etc with just his income. But he’s hinted without telling me directly that I should stay home with our baby. Bc he’s mentioned we don’t trust anyone with our kids (bad experiences with sitters with our 15 year old when she was in the babysitter stage) so I have so much to think about. Budgeting, What to decide about my business I created (would keep license active for later use if I go the stay at home way), etc.

I wish I could have stayed home with my 1st but 15 years ago we weren’t in the place we are now.
