How do you guys know the gender please?

Hiya! I’m currently 14+2 and so many of you lovelies know what you’re having. I live in the UK and didn’t know it was possible to find out before a private scan at 16 weeks?💓

I am in the UK too and I found out at 11 weeks by getting a private NIPT test (this is also the most accurate screening for chromosome disorders, much more than the NHS tests). It shows you the gender with 99.7% accuracy I believe. They often go by the brand names Harmony or Panorama. It cost around £400 and we got the results in about 5 days 🙂

I’m in the US and my doctors give the option of NIPT test, which the blood draw also shows if there is an Y chromosome present- indicating it’s a boy. 
There is also sneak peek test that you can do starting at 6 weeks where you draw blood and it test for the Y chromosome- those you can do at a lab or at home.

Booked a 3D ultrasound for 16weeks to find out a bit early. The place I booked said as early as 14 but I figured I'd give a few more weeks just in case lol. We find out next Sunday! I know you can pay for testing in Canada for blood results but I did not do that.

I went for a private ultrasound at 14+2 and found out, I did the same with my second and third pregnancies also. With my first I didn't know you could find out before 20 weeks!
