After being dilated 1cm, how quickly did you continue to dilate?

I had my 36 week checkup today and I’m 1cm dilated! I’m so excited. Just curious to see how quickly y’all dilated after you started 😊

I was at 1 cm for about 3 weeks I didn’t dilate more until I was in actual labor.

Some people walk around at 4cm for weeks and some people go into labor at 0cm.

i was 3cm days before i went into labor , it means nothing if you’re not contracting

With #2 I was 1cm on a Tuesday and gave birth on the Thursday, 38w exactly. Even my midwife was surprised lol.

With my oldest I stayed at 1 cm for WEEKS then 3 cm for WEEKS. 1 cm is nothing. With my youngest I wasn't dialated at all, then my BP spiked, and baby's BP plummeted. I dialated 3 cm in a matter of 30 minutes. In all honesty I needed an emergency C‐section, told to me by the OBGYN at the clinic I was at that I would likely need one, and I was sent to my hospital but the charge nurse was downplaying the situation to my OBGYN who wasn't on call. That charge nurse caused my pre-eclampsia to be missed and almost cost my baby her life. Thank GOD that she was okay until I delivered a few weeks later.

my last pregnancy I was 2cm from about 38 weeks and had my baby at 43 weeks
