How long before you announced you were pregnant?

I'm pregnant. I have my first ultrasound the 29th to find out how far along I am.  Thinking about doing a Christmas announcement. I should be around 10wks then. Just wondering how far along others were before announcing. This is baby 2.

Told family & close friends around 8 weeks after the first ultrasound & then told everyone else at 12 weeks
