Who does the laundry?

I have two friends that told me they do their own laundry separately and not together and I’m curious who else does that.

I’m a SAHM. I do all the laundry for the household. My husband would help if I asked him to but I’ve got it handled and frankly as a SAHM I do consider that part of my job.

I’m a SAHM, my husband works from home. He does most of the laundry. I will fold it sometimes but he’s pretty on top of it. Our 13 and 14 year old do their own. I used to do it ALL…Until our 2 year old was born. Then he took it over to help while I was pp and it stuck. We have a 5 month old now too. I try but he usually gets to it b4 I even think about it. It’s the 1 thing he does around the house but it is very helpful. 🤣

separate, I do my own and my kid's bc he's very picky about his laundry work clothes vs. regular clothes so I just let him be🤷‍♀️ no issues just one less thing for me works out fine

I do laundry. No way I’m letting him touch our clothes bc he’d shrink them all or probably turn them pink. Lol  I also hate the way he folds the clothes so I’d prefer to do it. Plus I’m a SAHM so there’s no excuse for me not to get it done.

Hubby works from home and I’m a SAHM. I always wash it, most of the time put it away but once in awhile he helps with that part. Works good for us.

nobody touches my washing machine 😅 but he puts his stuff in and hangs his stuff on the the clothes line/brings it in... tbh I don't think he folds his stuff but my life is to short to be bothered checking up and policing that 🤷🏽‍♀️

I wash my clothes colder than he does, and I use a different cycle- so it's works to seperate our logged. He tends to do more washing in the winter as our washing machine is outside and I don't like doing it if I have to leave the kids I the house on their own etc

I’m a sahm and my husband works outside the home. We both do the laundry when it needs to be done. He checks to see if it needs to be done. I check to see if it needs to be done. It isn’t anyones job, it’s just a task that must be done to keep the home running so it’s both of our responsibilities to make sure it’s completed
