Today I got a positive ovulation test. BUT!!!

The last period I had was on the 11th October. So I tested 3 times because of how late I’ve not had period. Is this even possible?? I’m so confused right now. So do that mean I’m ovulating like this is the first time this has ever happened to me. And I’m spun out. I’ve spoken to drs about this and because of irregular periods etc and not having one for this length of time they referred me to fertility clinic. This is the first time I’ve ever had a smiley face to. So 🤷🏻‍♀️ so confused
