What are we?

I have been dating this guy for a few weeks (4 dates) and he told me at the first date that he doesn't like to date more than 1 person at once, he treats me amazingly but we haven't talked about us much. Does it mean we are exclusive or not? I kind of want to have sex with him (my choice) but I don't want to have sex with someone if he is doing it with other women as well?

I know I have to ask him, how exactly do I ask him that?

Note: It doesn't matter if we aren't, I just want to know if I should talk to other guys as well or not (I don't want to catch feelings)
