tips for homeschooling?

M

So my daughter is currently only 3 months old which means i have quite a bit of time to research and think about this but i figured it's never too early to start.

Looking at the way the school system has been changing over the years (especially in my area), i've started to feel more and more uncertain about sending my child to a public school. i have a younger brother who has started middle school this year and honestly hearing my mom talk about the amount of stress and drama she has to deal with because of the school makes me worry. Not to mention, when i was in school i absolutely hated it and felt like i never learned anything that would actually help me out in the real world.

Homeschooling is something that i really would love to do but i also have concerns like what if my daughter has a difficult time with it or what if i'm not good at being the teacher. My brother has done bits of homeschooling before and my mom struggled and eventually gave up because it was too much for her to handle. Another one of the reasons i want to homeschool apart from the crappy school system is because me and my boyfriend don't have the money to afford a second car right now and we're financially struggling with the cost of rent on top of everything else so it would be easier to be able to keep her at home with me.

Honestly i just really need advice and opinions because thinking about this has really been stressing me and even though i have time to figure it out, i hate how unprepared i am right now.
