Being referred to a high risk doctor for an evaluation.
Had my 32 week growth scan yesterday, whose main purpose was to tell us if my low lying placenta moved up. It has, so that's the good news.
But apparently my daughter is very small, slightly under the 25th percentile. My midwife says not to panic but she's referring me to a high risk doctor for a scan to make sure my daughter is OK.
She thinks it's likely because I, myself, am "very small". I'm 4'11" and between 85-90 lbs when not pregnant. My previous 3 babies were not small (all born 7-10 days early and still 7 lbs 12 oz, 7 lbs 2 oz, and 7 lbs 13 oz). But they were all boys so maybe that makes a difference of some kind.
