I had pretty irregular cycles as a teen. Got pregnant at 18, in august of 2016, had my baby at 19 in May of 2017. He was breastfed no bottles at all which I knew could delay cycles. Got my first period when he was 18 months old and between then and him being 25 months old I had 5 periods then got pregnant again. Both pregnancies were super easy first try babies. Got pregnant June 2019 and had my daughter February of 2020. Again, breastfed and knew I was likely to start around the same time I did after my son was born. But I didn’t have my first post partum period until my daughter turned 2, in February of 2022. Since then I’ve had 6 periods and cycles lasting 37-55 days. I have an appointment with my obgyn December 1st and just have no clue what to expect. Today is cycle day 55, in 2 hours it’ll be cycle day 56! I wanted my third baby closer in age than my first and second are, I was hoping to be holding my 3rd baby by now, not still crying over long cycles and negative tests. Even if I were to start my period tomorrow it would be most likely over a month before I even ovulate again. This is so frustrating and I keep trying to vent to my only friend about it and she never replies until I change the subject so I’m just needing some support and understanding.
