Has anybody else gone through a similar situation?

I’ve witnessed guys call females that they are “in love” with ho*s then go run back to those females. I have been called one too by a 32 yo & the same guy desperately begs me & chases after me. My question is how can you call someone you’re in love with ugly names .. is it society ? Insecurity or intimidation?
