So my husband had some extra vacation time to burn so he took the week of Thanksgiving off. I said great! Then we can let our sitter have the week off as well. Then came the deer in the headlights look. He was expecting he would take a couple days off and relax, watch ESPN, and be care free, and watching our 18 month old daughter was not part of that plan. It would be nice not to have to pay for our sitter for the days he has off. Am I the asshole for smashing his vacation plans and asking him to take care of our child?
