Probably depends on who is doing it, but when I had mine done it was just uncomfortable, not really painful.  It also unfortunately did nothing for me labor-wise 🤷🏼‍♀️

I felt like it was more uncomfortable than painful. Kinda a pinching feeling and some pressure.
