Does anyone else have a boyfriend who never compliments you?

I never get compliments from my boyfriend, not even if I dress up. When asking about it he says that’s just who he is as a person and he doesn’t really reassure me, although when we first started dating I used to get some (but not a huge amount). Has anyone else experienced this?

I don’t like complimenting people lol. It’s uncomfortable for me and I feel like I wouldn’t be around someone I don’t like. So if I’m around you, that’s your compliment lol. But it’s understandable to want to be complimented by your partner. Maybe tell him that you feel wanted and happy when complimented and ask that he makes an effort to do that.

Yes my ex was like this. Never gave compliments but wouldn't have an issue telling me where I went wrong. It made me feel so down, hence why he's my ex.

Yes and no lol he doesn’t naturally verbalize his thoughts so we had to go through a learning curve so he knows if I’m having a rough week I need need some extra reassurance. And I let him know if I need some more.
