How many baby bags?

Question

If you have a baby & toddler did you give them 2 separate baby bags? Did they share 1 baby bag? My son bag is full with his stuff. Don’t think both of their stuff would fit his bag. Expecting my daughter in January. My son is 1. Will be 2 next year.

I carry around only a small backpack purse for my almost 2 year old so I will probably just be taking one backpack after new baby is here. My daughter doesn’t require a whole lot. I also keep extra stuff in the car that’s stays there. So you can always take stuff but not carry it with you if that makes sense.

We're getting our toddler her own little backpack to tote things around (turns 2 end of January) and using her old diaper bag for our son (due beginning of February) because I tend to pack lots of extra clothes and diapers just in case so I know it won't all fit in current bag.

Shared. So I put 2 pairs of pants, 1 shirt, a cup, spoon, wipes, diapers and some plastic bags for my 2 year old in the bag. That’s it! So I’m gonna put both the newborn and toddler stuff in one.
