1 year old acting normal but keeps saying “ouch” and pointing to stomach
My son who is 20 months last night randomly pointed to his left rib area and said “ouch” and wined for about a minute, and then asked for a bottle and went to bed (it was bed time and we were already ready for bed at that point). He slept totally fine and was in a great mood this morning but a few times since then he’s done the same thing a couple times in the upper rib area and couple times just pointing to his abdomen in general. In between him saying “ouch” he’s been acting totally normal and happy, he’s even drinking and eating pretty normally. The longest he’ll seem bothered when saying ouch is like 30 second. He’s never done anything like this before. Do you think it’s just gas or something more serious? My husband and I are keeping a really close eye and if he continues to do it though today we plan to take him in just in case but would love your advice!
