Hi ladies,

I was wondering about crawling my second child is 9 months old and when he is on the floor he will try to get on all fours rock back and forth. But so far just rolling and scooting to places on the floor. With our first he was crawling by 8 months old. I know each kiddo is different, just curious about what y’all have experienced.

My son is 9 months old and army crawls around, he does get up on all fours and rock but isn’t officially crawling yet. His doctor said some babies skip actually crawling all together. My first two didn’t really crawl either, they all pretty much went from army crawling to walking.

It can happen anywhere from 6 months-12 months. My first started the day he turned 7 months. My second started like a 1 or 2 weeks after turning 7 months. My husband’s niece started like 3 weeks before turning 1. There is a huge “normal” range so don’t worry mama!
