I went to the dr for my 12 week scan and the dr found a lump of extra soft tissue at the end of the spine. He could not see an intact spinal column at that level, raising concern for a spinal column defect.

He told me it could be spina bifida or it could be a tumor. I was referred to a high risk pregnancy Dr that could not see me for another 2 weeks. The Dr told me not to worry until they can take a look. But I can’t help it. My mind is all over the place.

Anyone else going through something similar? 🥺
