**I know that dilation/effacement really means nothing concerning labor and imminence of baby’s arrival. I also know that every woman, baby, pregnancy, and birth are different. I am just curious!**

I had my 38 week appointment Monday. I had been losing globs of my mucus plug the week before and still am every other day or so. No bloody show or leaking, and the only contractions I get are Braxton Hicks. Nothing consisten or painful. I did want my Dr. to check me out of pure curiosity bc of the amount of mucus plug I had been seeing. I was 3cm dilated, 60% effaced, and baby was sitting at -1 station. I have lost more mucus plug, felt more pressure, and tried a couple natural induction methods since then, but I’m still very pregnant 😅😭 With all of that information, I’m just curious if there’s anyone who was dilated effaced farther and still didn’t go into labor? Or if anyone was like I am, trying to naturally induce, and found something that worked for them?
