Blowing this out of proportion?

I’ll keep it brief.

My baby daddy and I are cool (no hate, we are usually civil and do call each other like what up baby mama or what up baby daddy - just so you dont think it’s rude or ghetto we laugh about it now).

Germs have been bad this year - colds, flus, Covid, rsv, all sorts of germs and viruses happening. My baby daddy isn’t very involved to begin with - seeing our kid once a month at most , but calls and videos all the time simply because he works and lives 3 hours away. No hard feelings - he’s with a new girl, I’m married to a different guy. Court isn’t necessary - I’m good with having our kid all the time .

Anyways because of germs , he hasn’t been around for two almost three months. Germs in his house and germs in mine everyone looking out for the kids. Fine!

Well today he was supposed to come up our way. Everyone’s healthy this is great. Then radio silence. I call and message and nothing. He was due here hours ago. And only now (like 4 hours later) he says his truck died yesterday. I was like so why didn’t you tell me that yesterday? Or hours ago? Something like that.

I insisted that a courtesy call would have been nice especially since our kid was waiting for him because on fridays they get milkshakes and tonight was supposed to be 2 milkshakes for 2 months. My baby daddy was a little grumpy tbh today and was like oh well fuck it life happens calm down you’re being annoying and all that and making a big deal over something he couldn’t control. Again I said all we needed was a text or a call before and that he had to communicate better not for my sake but for our kids sake. Not 4-5 hours after he was supposed to be here.

You feel me? Or nah?
