Throwing my kids first birthday party for entire class, when to order pizza?

My daughter is turning 7 and we invited her entire class (19 kids) to come to our house for a 2 hour party. We live in a typical suburban neighborhood so cars will be lined up and down the street for a few hours.
I've never thrown a birthday party. Should I order a variety or pizzas and pick them up before party (hoping they don't get cold) or order them during party and hope that 10 pizzas arrive in time and the driver has enough room to deliver?

I do it during the party. Always. First we play and everything and by the time they are a little worn out (rarely ever lol) the pizza is on its way and they eat the pizza. I’ll have a bunch of snacks and sides on hand tho before the party. So we’re not all waiting on pizza.

If your ordering 10+ pizzas, I’d probably call a head and schedule the delivery for a good time, likely the middle of the party? Having worked in food service, getting a call well in advance and having time to prepare led to better results. When we’d get large orders with no notice, we’d tend to miss things or they would not be ready on time.

What You should technically do is talk to all the parents  find out if there's any child that have allergies or they can't have certain toppings. If you don't want an accidental allergy reaction at a birthday party.

During the party. Whatever time you plan on to sit down and have everyone eat … I’d order Atleast a half hour before hand. It shouldn’t take long to make 3/4 pizzas

Kids like cheese pizza, thats always an option. Get gluten and vegan free too cause you never know or just do Mac and cheese.

Order the pizzas during the party after the kids have had a bit of fun and burnt some energy. Definitely get a variety of different pizzas due to allergies etc. You’ll do great, don’t stress too much!

I always order right before the party and either myself or husband picks up. Everyone eats right when the party starts so it's fresh.
