Negative pregnancy test but no period

Hi, I took a pregnancy test the day my period was due but it was negative. My period still hasn’t come and it’s 3 days late now. Last night I woke up and my boobs felt so full and heavy at the sides but very soft in the middle. When I got up this morning then they just felt soft and kind of ‘bouncy’. Has anyone had a negative pregnancy test on day AF was due and then gone on to have a positive pregnancy test a few days later?
