Has anyone tried natural cycles birth control app?

I just recently found out about a birth control method that is just strictly tracking method by basal temperature and some other things and I’m really interested in it I hate hormonal birth control I don’t wanna be on it

After my son I did the fertility awareness method and it worked until we wanted to try for another child. I'd say if you have regular periods it can be an effective form of preventing pregnancy. I just logged my periods and it told me when I'd ovulate, I would take an ovulation test during that week to pin point and make sure I actually ovulated. We just didn't have sex on the fertility week and for a few days after.
