My daughter is 12 and my son is 14. My daughter just got her first period. Today my son was whining a lot. I think he had a hard day at school so everything was setting him off at home. He was whining about not being able to find his ear buds and I told him the last place I saw them was in the kitchen. He couldn't find them so he gets an attitude and is huffing and puffing. I told him to lose the tude and he started crying about it and getting mad and I said "Did your sister get her period or did you". Thinking about it I feel that was kind of mean. I was just annoyed he was so upset over headphones.
