2nd baby after c-section

For my first pregnancy I had an emergency c section . It was all very traumatic. I got sepsis and our heatt rates were elevated so I had to get it. My contractions were so close together, they had to break my water, they induced me. They did everything in the book for me to give birth naturally and then when it was time to push they told me to wait because my ob was nowhere to be found. The my son turned over and popped inside of me and then I guess I got sepsis and they had to do a c-section. It's hard to remember a the details. So I'm pregnant again and I'm so scared to give birth vaginally. My c-section didn't go that bad and I recovered fast. I guess there's complications in both after having one c-section. So this rambling is basically asking if anyone has had an emergency c-section and then has another baby. What did you guys do ? How did it go ? I know everyone is different but I'm stuck on if I should give birth vaginally or have another c-section.
