Hi all! I’m a FTM to a mischievous 18-month-old littles and was wondering what you do to keep them safe at home. Specifically, do you use toilet lid covers to keep them from accidentally falling in? My partner is not as careful as I am and will sometimes leave the door to the bathrooms open and the lid up and she’s wandered in and closed the door behind her to play hide and seek. The 8-year-old step-kiddo is also not great about remembering to close bathroom doors. I know the best strategy is trying to convince them to be more careful, but it’s an uphill battle and I wonder what I can do in the meantime to keep her safe when I’m not there to watch her.
