Winter season
Hello. I just need some guidance on how to handle things. I have a little one who is 11 months old at the moment. She’s the only baby I have. She doesn’t attend daycare and stays at home with me. Now this winter hasn’t been forgiving so far since there has been so much sickness going around. My little one has already caught a cold 3 times now since September. She barely recovered from one a few days ago and now her nose is running again which is super frustrating and stressful for me since I am expecting again. Now the issue is dressing her appropriately for the weather. I live in Houston Texas so the winters here are dry and not extremely cold. Our weather has been chaotic to say the least. We have had cold fronts and then suddenly it’s 80 outside. My MIL insists that I dress her with 2 layers of clothes so she doesn’t keep getting sick. A short thermal shirt and a light long sleeve onesie. I sometimes think that might be too much for her and it makes her hot? I am not sure what to do at this point. Any experienced moms can guide me on how cold babies can get?
Thanks.
