How is anyone affording to move right now? We live in Memphis and are moving to west Nashville in April for my husbands job. Our house here will be listed at $255,000 and if it sells for that we will walk away with about $60,000. The houses close to my husbands job are average $350,000. Thankfully we have the option to live with family to save up some money but dang not like $40,000 that would put a big dent in the loan payment. We need our monthly cost to be $1500 or less. How are you advising people in our situation? Interest rates are 6-7%
