Ttc # 2, on month 2 so far of trying.I recently had Mirena iud removed about 3 months ago and prior to that I gave birth May of 2021, but had never restarted my period after giving birth. So my LMP was something bananas like 07/26/2020. My point is it was like a hard restart for my system to do repro stuff again and im working on tracking cycles. Also using fertility friend. Finally got af again in Nov, my current LMP was 11/3, next predicted is 12/4. 5 days out now.

Here is the question, when testing early for pregnancy do you go by dpo or by how many days until expected af? I started testing 4 days ago on 8 dpo, however that is 9 days before I am expecting af, right? Well on marketing for a lot of tests they advertise a result up to 5 days prior to your missed period. So I'm thinking when testing early should 5 days prior to af be where to begin? I know I kind of rambled a lot, hopefully this makes sense. If you have questions or concerns please ask me. :)
