How do they work for people to qualify?

I hate to admit I have a lot of pride, but I have health issues that have me on disability. Food prices have skyrocketed in my area and I have a child. Used to find deals and things on clearance. But where more and more people have had to cut on their budget in my area, clearance bins have been pretty cleared out. 😰 I feel like a failure. I can’t get my kid his favorite snacks as often anymore because they went up $4. We both can’t eat meat due to an allergy, and Walmart replaced the products we previously bought, with more expensive vegetarian products.

Will they report me to cps if I go to a food bank?
