Hello, I currently have a 2 month old. We all got sick with a cold and he has congestion. Any big boogers I'll take out with plastic tweezers but the thick mucus that isn't visible I have tried the bulb syringe (doesn't have enough pressure to suck anything out) and my husband uses the fridababy snot sucker and still no luck. I watched videos that the Boogie micro-mist saline inhaler was really good as well so I attempted that right before we used the snot sucker but still weren't able to get it out. I also watched videos where cupping of the hand and tapping baby's back helps break up the mucus but again, no luck there. He really isn't phased by it but I feel so bad when I hear the mucus as he breathes. If anybody has any tips for this I would appreciate it! I know it's RSV season and I don't want him to get worse.
