Jar foods?

Have any of you mommy's been told to give your baby any jar foods yet? My daughters dr said to start her out with fruit & cereal now. I thought that was usually around 6 months?

His doc said newer studies say it's better to start Earlier. My son was ready little over 4 months now

It's 6 mo if u r exclusively breastfeeding.

We started cereal at 4 months. She was ready. We were told to introduce veggies first because fruits give them a sweet tooth and then they don't want anything else.

My baby Ped said we could at the 4 month visit but we didn't start til she was 5 months

We were told to start her on rice cereal, oatmeal,veggies and fruit... She is 4.5 months

My daughter is almost 6 months and has tried almost everything now veggie and fruit wise. No honey or meat!

Mine at 4.5 months. He was very interested in what we were eating. Started with cereal, then avocado, peas, pears, banana, and prunes. Next is squash. He loves them all but peas.

Mine started at 4 months. I make her own baby foods or just feed her from my plate. I squish the food with a fork and she eats it. She loves food.

My daughter started at 5 months and she loves to eat. She didn't like plain cereal so I had to mix a little fruit in it

I thought it was 6 mos but not all babies are the same. My little was showing signs early so we started her at 4 mos. veggies should be first m. My doc recommended avocado bc it's a healthy fat, sweet potato and banana. My little states with avocado and still loves it. I breastfeed mostly but a few days out of the week she has a fun treat of one of the three.
