Cramps or contractions?

I can't tell if I'm having cramps or something but last night it came from my sides across the bottom of my belly and met like a fist or knot in the front and it went for like 1 or 2 minutes straight while I was in the shower. I also checked myself and think my cervix is open 1cm but I can't really tell since I've never really done cervical checks on myself. Today it seems like light cramping and my stomach is hard at the bottom more than I think it normally is I have no idea what's going on lol 21w5d today definitely too early for all this
